Shoutout to the spa in Asheville that had a brilliant hydration station setup

They had a chilled water dispenser with cucumber and mint right in the waiting area, which clients loved before facials. Has anyone else seen a simple idea that really improved the client experience?

Used to think those infused water stations were just for show. Then I went to a place that used a big glass dispenser with a fine mesh filter basket inside. The cucumber and mint were contained, no floaty bits, and the mint was subtle. It actually tasted clean and was a nice touch.

Actually a good filter basket makes all the difference. It keeps the bits out of your glass so you just get the flavor. That's the key to it not being a messy gimmick.

Ugh, that sounds like a mess waiting to happen. Chilled water with stuff floating in it gets gross fast, leaves bits in the glass, and mint overpowers everything. It's a gimmick that creates more cleaning work than good vibes.
