Question about a client's persistent redness that cleared up after we switched to a gentler acid toner

A regular client with stubborn facial redness saw it almost completely fade over eight weeks once we swapped her daily 10% glycolic for a 5% PHA formula, which makes me think her barrier was just constantly aggravated.

Oh yeah, I've seen that exact thing happen before.

Yeah, that's a classic. Last time it happened, I just shut the whole thing down and let it sit for a few minutes. Fired it back up and it ran fine. Sometimes the system just needs a hard reset to clear whatever glitch it's hung up on.

But what if the reset just hides a bigger problem? @sageross might call it a fix, but it could let a real fault get worse. I'd check the logs first before just rebooting.
