Choosing a high-frequency machine over a hydrafacial for my acne clients

Everyone at the spa in Scottsdale said I was crazy, but after 6 months, my clients' results speak for themselves. Anyone else find the standard treatment plan isn't a one-size-fits-all?

Trust your gut when standard treatments fail your clients.

Totally. I read this case study about a therapist who had a client with really bad anxiety that just wasn't getting better with the usual methods. She had this strong feeling the root was something physical, not just psychological. She gently suggested the client get a full check up, and it turned out to be a major thyroid issue. Once that was treated, the talk therapy actually started to work. Sometimes the gut feeling is to look outside the textbook.

Had a friend who was always tired and down, no matter what. We kept talking about stress at work, but nothing helped. Finally got him to see a doctor, and it was a serious vitamin D deficiency. After some supplements, he was like a new person. Those physical things can really hide behind the mental stuff.
