Vent: Had a major tape bubble on a cathedral ceiling in a new build in Bend, Oregon.
I had to cut out a 3-foot section, re-mud with hot mud, and re-tape before the homeowner's walk-through the next morning, but it dried smooth and saved the inspection.

Man that sounds stressful. Good save though, especially on a cathedral ceiling.

Yeah, cathedral ceilings are no joke. I spent half the time just trying to keep the ladder from feeling like a carnival ride. My "good save" was mostly me holding my breath and hoping the tape wouldn't peel. Honestly, it's a miracle I didn't end up painting a stripe down the wall or myself.

Wow, the real win here is that hot mud set up in time! In Bend, that dry air can be a curse or a blessing. I bet you had the heat cranked and a fan going all night, just praying it cured without shrinking. That overnight dry on a ceiling patch is the true test, way more than the ladder work. Pulling that off before a walk-through is the real pro move.
