PSA: Taping knives beat texture spray on my accent wall project
I made a geometric design on a drywall accent wall in my living room. Used a texture spray can for the background and it came out blotchy. Switched to a taping knife for the lines and the difference was night and day. Skip the spray for any kind of pattern work. The extra time with a knife is worth it.

Used to think that, but you're totally right.

Skipping the spray is a mistake because it saves SO much time on big walls.

For every 10 feet of wall, proper spraying saves about 30 minutes of labor. It adds up fast on those massive projects.
