Had the worst day last month when a 4-foot log jammed the cutterhead mid-morning

I was clearing a feeder channel on the Mississippi and that hidden oak log threw the whole pump out of alignment, lost 6 hours of digging time and had to bring in a diver to clear it, has anyone else had a surprise obstruction wreck their whole shift?

You ever had a buddy whose luck is just cursed? My friend Mike once had a dead pine branch fall straight through his truck's sunroof during a light drizzle. No wind, no storm, just a random 3-foot limb that picked his exact parking spot. Totaled his roof and soaked his whole interior in like 30 seconds.
