The $15 wood glue fix I used on a cracked chair leg is still holding 8 months later
Everyone I know tosses furniture over a split leg or a loose joint, but I slapped some Titebond on a dining chair last winter and it's sturdier than the other three that came with the set. Has anyone else had luck with glue on stuff that seems beyond saving?

Titebond III on a broken armchair rung here. That was like 3 years ago and it's still holding. Just clamp it right and let it cure full 24 hours.

Wait, has anyone else had trouble with Titebond III on darker woods though? I've used it on oak and it seemed fine but on walnut it left this weird light line. Still holding strong after two years though so maybe I'm just overthinking it.
