Vent: My helix piercing needle bent at the worst angle
Tried to do my own helix at 11 PM last night and the hollow needle bent halfway through my cartilage after hitting a tough spot. Has anyone else had a needle go sideways mid-pierce and what did you do to finish it clean?

Whoa, hold up. Gotta say that's kind of impressive you even got a needle to bend in the first place. Sounds like you just hit a really tough spot, which honestly means you were probably in the clear to just push through it if you had a better tool.

That "in the clear to just push through" part is interesting. Were you able to actually get the needle through or did you have to back it out?
