Stumbled on a way to use fallen branches for border edging.

I mean, I was just clearing debris, but weaving them together made a natural fence. Maybe it's just me, but it saved a trip to the store.

Thicker branches like your maple ones probably hold way better than my skinny sticks lol.

How did you secure the ends in the ground? I tried something like that last fall with some thicker maple branches. Stuck them in a trench and packed dirt around them, held up all winter. Looks way better than plastic edging.

Like your packed dirt, but I add stakes at the ends for better security.
