My favorite lemon-scented dish soap started smelling like plastic after two weeks

I bought a big bottle of that new Meyer's lemon verbena soap at Target on Tuesday, and by Saturday the scent had turned into something that reminded me of a melted toy, so I switched back to Dawn and the grease cutting was instantly better, has anyone else had a fragrance go bad that fast?

Sounds like your soap pulled a fast one and turned into a Funko Pop reject. Meyer's probably got some warehouse chemistry going on, my bottle went weird too.

Everything's getting that weird "why did they change the formula?" treatment these days. It's like companies figured out nobody checks the label if the bottle looks the same.
