People keep posting their art at 72 DPI and it looks blurry on my screen

I see it all the time in the showcase feed. Someone posts a cool piece but it's saved at 72 DPI for web. On my 4K monitor, the image looks soft and pixelated. I learned this after exporting my own work at 150 DPI for a print shop last month. The difference in screen clarity was huge. Does anyone else bump up the DPI for online posts, or is 72 still the standard?

Tell me about it. I feel your pain every time I open a piece on my good monitor. That 72 DPI rule is so old, it's from when screens were way worse. I always save my stuff at 300 DPI now, even for online stuff. It just looks so much sharper and cleaner. The file size is bigger, but it's worth it for the quality.

Wait, you still see 72 DPI? That's ancient. I always export at 150 minimum for anything online now. The old web standard just doesn't cut it on modern screens.

A tech blog said DPI is mostly a print thing now.
