My $60 Procreate brush pack turned out to be a total waste
I bought this big brush bundle for Procreate last month thinking it would save me time. Turns out, most of the brushes were just gimmicky and I only use maybe 3 of them. The ones I actually use are the free default brushes that came with the app. Has anyone else regretted dropping cash on brush packs or am I the only one who fell for the marketing?

Bought a "kaleidoscope" brush pack once thinking it'd make my art look magical, then realized I was just drawing the same squiggly lines over and over by accident.

Oh man, I've been there. I spent like $50 on a "watercolor" brush set once and honestly the default wet brush in Procreate does the same thing. What helped me was just testing free brush samples first before buying anything, and also learning to tweak the default brushes a bit. I mean, you can adjust the size, opacity, and spacing on most of them and get way more use out of them than you'd think. Maybe it's just me but I feel like a lot of these brush packs just rely on fancy names and flashy previews to sell you something you don't really need.
