PSA: My date brought a full PowerPoint presentation to a coffee shop in Austin last Tuesday.

He said it was to 'efficiently communicate his core values and five-year plan' before our drinks even arrived, so has anyone else had a date try to turn a casual meetup into a corporate strategy session?

My ex once brought a printed agenda to a taco truck. I thought it was overkill, but honestly, after that PowerPoint story, a one page outline seems almost reasonable now.

Hot take: Run for the hills. Okay but seriously, that's not a date, that's a hostage situation. Dude brought a whole slide deck to a coffee shop like it's a quarterly review. I'd have just gotten up and left, like my dude, we're here for a latte and to see if we vibe, not for you to pitch me your life like a startup. That level of intense planning before the drinks even come is a huge red flag for how every single thing would be scheduled later. No thanks.

@dylan604 nailed it. I left mid coffee once. Best date decision ever.
