Picked the cheaper apartment with no dishwasher, 4 months in

Last spring I had to choose between a $950 place with a dishwasher near downtown or a $780 spot 20 minutes out with none. I took the cheaper one to save cash, but now I'm hand washing everything and my backs hurt every night... Has anyone else traded a convenience like that and actually stuck with it?

Honestly, you're probably better off. That dishwasher was just gonna break in a year anyway, and now you're getting a killer deal on rent while the rest of us are overpaying for a luxury we barely use.
