My neighbor said she only buys groceries for the next two days, not the whole week.

We were chatting by the mailboxes yesterday and she told me she stopped doing big weekly shops because it cut down on food waste and made her feel less stressed about meal planning. That sounds like a lot of extra trips to the store though. I'd be at the grocery store like four times a week, and gas isn't cheap. My Sunday trip is annoying but at least it's just one annoying chunk of time.
