Found a trick at the grocery store deli that saves me 10 minutes every time

I was stuck behind someone ordering like 6 different meats at the deli counter in Target last Tuesday. Now I just put my order in on the app while I'm still in the parking lot and pick it up on my way out. Has anyone else done this or am I just late to the game?

Funny you mention that, my buddy Mike swore by this for months. He'd be texting me from the parking lot like "I'm a genius" until one time he picked up the wrong bag and got home with a pound of olive loaf instead of the roast beef he wanted. Still beats waiting in line though, right?

My buddy Dave pulled almost the exact same stunt @ben206. He bragged for a solid three months about his curbside genius, timing his arrival so the groceries got loaded right as he pulled up. One Tuesday he grabbed a bag off the rack that wasn't his, drove home, and found five bags of frozen broccoli and a single box of apple cinnamon granola bars. His wife still brings it up at dinner parties like it's a war story. I figure that's a small price to pay for never having to park a cart in a crowded aisle again though.
