My whole team got locked out of our work accounts on Tuesday

A fake email about a 'mandatory security update' went around the office. It looked real, had our company logo and everything. Six people clicked the link and entered their passwords before we caught it. We had to reset over 50 accounts and call IT. Has anyone else seen these fake internal emails getting really good lately?

Yeah, the part about it having the company logo and looking real is what gets me. It's not just work emails either. I got a text last week that looked exactly like a shipping update from a real store I use. The fakes are blending in everywhere now, copying the small details that make us trust them. You have to check the sender address every single time, which is exhausting. It feels like we're all just waiting for the next one to slip through.
