Hit 500 hacked accounts on my watch list today
That's 500 people who used 'password123' or their birthday. Shocked me how many still don't use 2FA.

Bet they still think "hunter2" is a secure password too.

Man I switched to a password manager after my old trick of using the same password with a number at the end got me hacked on a gaming forum. It took me a whole afternoon to set up but now I just let it generate random stuff like "xQ7fL2mP9k" and I don't even remember my own passwords most days. Way less stress than trying to remember which variant of my dog's name I used for each site. Still paranoid about my email password though that one I keep locked down tight.

Ehh I kinda see it different though, simple passwords like that can work if you pair them with other stuff like two factor codes. I'd rather remember one decent password and use an authenticator app than trust my whole digital life to a manager that could get compromised too. But yeah I agree with you on the email part, that's the master key to everything so it has to be solid.

I actually see it the Opposite way, @clairem47 definitely called it with that "hunter2" jab because people underestimate how dumb simple passwords really are. Password managers are way safer than relying on your memory or a few extra digits.
