Setting fixed update times saved me from endless customer calls

I once had a client who needed a small account change. They called me multiple times a day for weeks asking for updates. It was driving me crazy and slowing down my work. I decided to set a specific time each week to give them a progress call. This made them stop calling randomly and let me get things done. Now I always suggest this to my team when dealing with similar situations. It really helps keep things moving without the constant interruptions.
