Got a call back from a customer 6 months later thanking me for the honest quote

I bid out a flooring job for a family in Arlington last winter and told them the cheap laminate they wanted would buckle in their humid basement. They went with someone else who told them what they wanted to hear, and now I'm ripping out that same laminate and installing LVP at a higher price. Has anyone else had a job come back around like that after a customer learned the hard way?

That customer in Arlington waited six months to call you back? That's wild. I can't believe they let that cheap laminate sit there and buckle through a whole summer and fall before finally giving up. You must have felt like a fortune teller when you walked in and saw it. At least they finally came around, even if it cost them more in the long run. Probably should have just listened to you the first time.

6 months is just a summer and fall, they probably hoped it'd fix itself first.
