Rant: Roommate used my towels as shop rags without asking
Came home from a weekend trip to find three of my good bath towels covered in grease and paint thinner. Turns out my roommate Jake was working on his car in the kitchen and grabbed whatever was handy. I told him to replace all three from Target or I'm locking my closet door.

Lock your closet door right now. That's not just inconsiderate, that's straight up disrespectful to use your personal stuff without asking. Target replacements are the bare minimum here, he owes you an apology too.

How do you even come back from that level of disrespect in a relationship? Like, borrowing a shirt is one thing but using personal stuff without asking shows a total lack of boundaries. What else is he helping himself to that she doesn't know about yet? Feels like once that trust is broken everything starts to feel a little off.
