I finally found the perfect car song and blew my speakers doing it

So I've been blasting "Bohemian Rhapsody" in my 2005 Honda Civic for years, right? Last week I cranked it to max like always, and the left door speaker just gave out with a nasty crackle. Guess I finally found the limit of those stock speakers after pushing them for 6 months straight. Anyone else ever sacrifice car audio gear for that one perfect track?

Blowing a speaker in a 2005 Civic is more about 17 year old paper cones than Bohemian Rhapsody specifically. Stock Honda parts from that era were never built to handle much more than talk radio anyway. My own experience says you probably got your money's worth out of those speakers years ago.

Bro is out here acting like blowing a speaker in a beater Civic is some kind of tragedy. It was bound to happen eventually with any loud song, not just Queen.
