PSA: Bought a $35 laser level from Harbor Freight and it's been worth every penny for setting up boom heights

Worth every penny" is a stretch. I borrowed my buddy's $35 one and the bubble was already crooked after two weeks. The thing's fine for a quick rough check but I wouldn't trust it for setting heights where accuracy actually matters. You get what you pay for with precision tools in my experience.

Jenny's right. Those cheap ones lose calibration faster than you'd think.

jennyp19 you had me second-guessing my Harbor Freight buy at first, but honestly I used to think the same way. Then I grabbed one on a whim and it's been holding up fine for my weekend projects. Not saying it's pro grade but for the price it's hard to beat, you know?
