Hit 500 hours on the LTM 1250 without a single incident

Passed 500 hours operating this LTM 1250 up in Billings last month. Felt like a big deal since my last rig had two load swings that kept me up at night. Finally feel like the setup checks and rigging habits are second nature. Anyone else track their hours like this or just me?

Heard a crane operator out of Denver say the first 500 hours on any new rig are the real test, so hitting that mark clean is solid. That LTM is a workhorse, but the setup discipline is what saves you, not just the machine. My buddy swears by logging every lift, even the boring ones, says it builds the muscle memory you need when things get sketchy. Tracking hours is smart, it keeps you honest about your own skills.

Respectfully, I think the 500-hour mark is just a number, real skill shows up way after that.
