Just found out the FDA doesnt actually regulate what "organic" means in hair color
I was reading some blog from a cosmetic chemist last night and she flat out said that claim is just marketing, not any real standard. Blew my mind since Ive been upcharging clients for organic color for years. Has anyone else looked into this or am I the only one who got duped?

Boy howdy, I feel your pain. I was the same way with my clients for years, charging extra for what I thought was a premium organic product. Then I actually looked into it and found out the term "organic" in hair color is pretty much meaningless unless it's food-grade. I switched to a different brand after that and started being honest with people about what they're really getting.
