I had to pick between a classic bob and a long layered cut for a client last week

She came in with a picture of a really sharp, chin-length bob, but her hair was down to her shoulders and had some wave. I told her the bob would need a lot of flat ironing to look like the photo, while layers would work with her natural texture. We went with the layered cut, and after styling it, she said it felt like 'her hair but better.' Has anyone else had a client want a style that fights their natural hair type?
