Vent: wasted $200 on a meal prep service that gave me food poisoning
I tried one of those healthy meal delivery boxes last month, Freshly or something like it. Paid $200 for a week's worth of meals thinking it'd save time. Third day I ate their chicken and rice bowl and spent the whole night hugging the toilet. Lost two days of work and couldn't even get a refund cause they said it was 'handling issues' on my end. Anyone else get burned by these subscription meal things or is it just me?

Chargeback through your bank, that's the only way I got my money back when a similar thing happened with HelloFresh. Also document everything - take pics of the meal and keep the packaging, plus screenshot your symptoms timeline. FDA complaint too if you're feeling petty cause food safety is no joke.
