Just crossed 1,000 grooming appointments this week and it hit me different

I hit my 1,000th dog grooming appointment yesterday after 4 years of running my shop solo. I thought I'd feel proud, but instead I just felt exhausted realizing how many dogs I've yelled at for peeing on my table. Has anyone else reached a milestone that felt way more empty than you expected?

You know you've made it when your main achievement is somehow not losing your mind over 1,000 puddles on the table. Congrats on the milestone, I guess.

Wait, are you telling me there's a guy out there who's actually counting puddles on a table like it's some kind of achievement tracker? That's wild. I can barely keep track of how many times I've tripped over my own shoes in the hallway this week, let alone 1,000 puddles. Honestly, if I hit that milestone I'd probably just pour a drink on the table myself and call it even. Congrats to him, I guess. Hope his therapist is charging by the puddle.
