I looked up the actual stats on electric car fires and the numbers from the NFPA report shocked me.

The NFPA report shows EV fires are way less common than gas car fires. I checked the data after seeing a viral video about a Tesla burning. It really puts the whole media panic into perspective lol.

Tell the media to check the actual numbers like @jordang32 did, because they're acting like every EV is a rolling campfire. It's wild how one viral video can make people forget about the thousands of gas car fires every year (you know, the ones that don't get clicks). Guess a regular car burning is just too boring for the news cycle anymore.
