Showerthought: My big 'Moon landing hoax' flowchart took me three months to finish
I got into a dumb online fight about the Apollo missions and decided to make a simple chart showing the main hoax claims and the counter evidence. Figured it would take a weekend. I spent the first month just reading old NASA tech manuals from the 60s to understand the basic engineering, which was a rabbit hole itself. Then another month trying to find clear, simple ways to explain things like the crosshairs on photos or the lack of stars. The last month was me redoing the whole layout because it looked like a mess. I finally posted it yesterday and it felt like a huge weight was off my shoulders. Has anyone else sunk way more time into a 'simple' debunking project than they planned?

Six weeks is actually pretty quick for that kind of project.
