Switched from hand troweling to power trowel last spring in Dallas

I used to do all my flatwork with a hand trowel cause that's how my old man taught me. Took me 3 jobs with a power trowel to realize I was wasting hours for no reason. Has anyone else made that switch and felt dumb about it?

Oh man, nobody talks about how much more even your knees will thank you after you make that switch! Standing up straight instead of hunched over all day changes the whole game.

Agree with laura on the knees thing. Switched last summer here in Austin. My back felt it too. Hand troweling my own driveway took me three full days. Power trowel did it in one morning. Felt like a clown for fighting it so long.
