Swapped from metal hand floats to magnesium and won't go back
I used metal hand floats for like 6 years straight. Thought the pros who used magnesium were being picky. Then last spring I grabbed a magnesium float on a whim at a supply house outside Nashville for $18. First time I used it on a slab I noticed the difference right away. The drag is way less and it seals the surface nicer without pulling fines to the top. My buddy John watched me tool a 20x30 garage floor and asked what I changed. Told him to try one on his next pour. Anyone else made the switch or still sticking with the old school metal floats?

$18? That's highway robbery cheap for a mag float.

That brand new or used because $18 is suspiciously cheap for a mag float.
