My brand new magnesium float snapped in half on a driveway job in Toledo last Thursday. The handle just gave out mid-sweep.

Toledo concrete must be harder than my will to finish that job.

Maybe the concrete's chemical makeup in Toledo reacted with the magnesium.

Doubt the reaction would be that strong, honestly.
