Can we talk about liquid cooling loops for gaming PCs...

I always thought custom water loops were overkill and a waste of money, but after my buddy's rig ran 10 degrees cooler under load for 3 years straight, I'm starting to doubt myself. For those of you who've made the switch, was the maintenance headache worth it or do you regret it?

Yeah the payoff is ALWAYS there if you're willing to put in the work.

ok but is the payoff always there though? like i get that hard work matters but sometimes you can bust your butt and still end up in the same spot. i've put in tons of hours on stuff and barely got anywhere, and then other times i barely tried and got lucky. maybe it's just me but the whole "you get what you put in" thing feels a little too simple for how messy life actually is.
