My local comic shop keeps mixing up the original Secret Wars with the 2015 one

I was picking up my pull list at Heroes Haven in Springfield yesterday and heard two different people ask for the 'new' Secret Wars trade, but they meant the 80s one. The clerk had to correct them both. It matters because the 2015 event is a totally different story with different stakes, not a straight remake. I've seen this mix-up happen online a lot too, especially in new reader threads. Does your shop have this problem, or is it just mine?

The real problem is when the mess has its own system. My garage has a pile of scrap wood by the door. It looks random, but I know the 2x4 for a shelf repair is the third piece down. If someone "cleans" it, I'm lost for a week.
