My comic shop started a swap box for used graphic novels and it's getting popular

I saw this new box at the counter where people can leave comics they don't want anymore. Other fans can take them for free instead of buying new ones. The shop owner told me it reduces waste and helps fans save money. It's cool to see how small actions can make a difference.

My friend snagged a beat up Sandman book from a free pile at our local store. He was so stoked he later bought the whole series brand new. That swap box basically created a loyal customer from leftover comics.

Wow, that's so smart when you think about it. That free box isn't just getting rid of old stock, it's building serious good will. It's like the store is saying "we care about the stories, not just the sale." That kind of trust makes you want to go back and spend your money there, not some big website. They turned trash into the best kind of advertising.

Your take on trash becoming advertising is so true. I read a blog post that called this "community karma" for small businesses. Makes you wonder why more places don't try it, right?
