PSA: I keep seeing beginners try to learn three languages at once and it never works
I was helping my nephew last week, and he was trying to learn Python, JavaScript, and C++ all in the same month because he saw a YouTube video saying to 'diversify.' He got so confused he almost quit. It's like trying to build a deck, fix a sink, and rewire a lamp all in one Saturday at the hardware store. You just end up with a mess. How do you even know which one to start with?

My buddy tried that with Spanish, French, and Italian last year. He mixed up so many basic words he couldn't form a single correct sentence in any of them after two months. Had to drop two and just focus on one to get anywhere.

My cousin did three at once too, @charles_hayes, and her German ended up sounding like Swedish soup.

Oh man, I totally get it. I used to think learning two languages at the same time was a smart hack. Tried Spanish and Portuguese a few years back. Ended up ordering "agua" in a Brazilian restaurant and they looked at me like I was nuts. Completely changed my mind, one at a time is the only way that works.
