Found out my tool presetter was off by 0.012" for 2 years. Discovered it during a random QC audit.

Holy crap, that's one of those things that makes you want to laugh and cry at the same time. 0.012" is a decent chunk to be off by for two whole years. I'm guessing a lot of those parts were either a little tight or a little loose, and nobody noticed until now. At least you caught it on a random audit and not during a big customer inspection or something insane like that. Makes you wonder what else is hiding in the shadows of that shop, right?
