Thought those magnetic damper stops were a gimmick, but one saved a job in Tacoma.
A stubborn damper wouldn't stay open for a cleaning, and the client's old stop was broken. Slapped a magnetic one on as a test, and it held solid for the whole sweep. Anyone have a better fix for a rusted-out hinge assembly?

Ever try just replacing the hinge pins?

Wait, @betty_price14, are the pins actually the problem though? My door sags because the wood screws are stripped out of the frame. Just new pins won't fix that if the holes are wrecked.

My cousin tried that and the whole door fell off.
