Fed up with inconsistent veggie deliveries from my supplier
My usual produce guy has been sending wilted greens for the past three weeks. It's messing up my salads and costing me time to pick through it all. Is it time to switch vendors or am I just being too picky?

Check if your supplier changed their own source before jumping ship. Sometimes the farm they buy from hits a bad patch with weather or labor, and they're just passing on subpar stuff without telling customers. Give them one clear warning that you need crisp greens by next delivery or you're done. This lights a fire under them to fix it or be honest about their supply chain falling apart. Line up a backup vendor now so you're ready to switch fast. Sticking with a broken system just teaches them you'll accept garbage.

Ask if limp lettuce really calls for switching vendors.

Oh man, "limp lettuce" is such a sad phrase. It makes me think of those sad, floppy leaves that just wilt into a puddle in the bowl. I see where @the_andrew is coming from about checking their supply chain, but honestly, if I'm paying for lettuce, I want it to actually be lettuce, not soup. Giving them one more shot is fair, but you gotta be ready to walk. Nobody has time for that.
