Yikes, that stings. I’ve been there with a pricey board game that ended up being more of a fancy paperweight. Dropped $60 on a strategy game once, and we spent the whole night just arguing about the setup rules before someone pulled out the phone and we played a trivia app instead. The thing’s been sitting in my closet ever since, and honestly, charades with zero dollars spent has never let me down. It hurts, but at least you got a funny story out of it.
