My new weekend plan is one free museum pass and a cooler of food
Used to drop $60 on brunch and a movie every Saturday, then last month I found out our local art museum does free admission on the first Sunday. I pack sandwiches and we picnic in the sculpture garden after, total cost is just the gas. Anyone else got a surprisingly cheap way to turn a regular afternoon into a full day out?

Found the same trick with our zoo, we pack a blanket and cheap snacks for the lazy picnic after.
