Watch for seams splitting on new glue-down jobs in humid basements
Last month I was doing a basement in Allentown, the homeowner had just sealed the walls and it still felt damp. I laid the carpet fine, but the next day the seams opened up about 3/8 of an inch because the backing stretched overnight. The guy who sold me the adhesive never mentioned humidity can make the glue release overnight. Has anyone else seen this happen with glue-down on concrete that's been recently sealed?

Sealed walls trap moisture in the slab and that vapor has to go somewhere, so blaming the adhesive is off base when the real problem was the concrete still being wet. Glue that releases overnight usually means the slab was not dry enough to begin with, not that the humidity snuck up on you. Test the concrete with a moisture meter before you lay anything next time, because no adhesive on the market holds when the slab is still pushing water up.
