Swapped from knee kickers to power stretchers 6 months ago

After I did a 1,200 sq ft job in Wichita and had to go back twice to fix ripples, that third callback finally made me buy a power stretcher and I havent looked back since, anyone else fight with knee kickers for way too long?

That 1,200 sq ft job in Wichita sounds brutal. I did a 1,500 sq ft living room in Tulsa with a knee kicker back when I first started, and I was so sore the next day I could barely walk. I ended up having to go back twice for ripples too, and the second time the homeowner just stood there shaking his head while I fixed it. Now I won't touch anything over a closet without the power stretcher, it's just not worth the headache or the callback.

Man I had a buddy who did a whole basement with a knee kicker and the homeowner made him rip it all up and start over because it looked wavy! He bought a power stretcher that same afternoon and never touched the knee kicker again.

Ha! I read a blog once where a guy said a knee kicker is basically just for touching up edges, never a whole room.
