Put new deck boards on and they warped overnight
I used green treated pine from Lowes and screwed them down tight, but three of them twisted up like potato chips by morning. Did I pick the wrong wood or should I have let them dry out first?

Green lumber will always warp if you don't let it season first.

Around here my grandad always said 6 months per inch of thickness for oak. But I've seen people get away with building stuff from freshly cut pine if they brace it right. Is there a certain species or thickness where you think green lumber is actually fine to use without any seasoning?
