Setting up my new Nemo Aurora 2-person tent in a stiff wind took me 45 minutes, not the 10 they claim.

The fly kept catching like a sail and the poles wouldn't lock in place. I was in a field outside Bend, Oregon, and it was a total fight. Has anyone else had a tent that just refuses to cooperate when it's breezy?

I had a similar fight with a Kelty tent on the Oregon coast last fall. The wind just would not let up, and the rain fly acted like it wanted to be a kite. I spent half an hour just wrestling one corner stake into the ground. It makes you wonder if the people who write those setup times ever test them outside on a real day.

Disagree, @danielb43, those times are for perfect conditions.

Nemo's ten-minute claim needs a zero-wind guarantee.
