Just realized I've read 200 tent reviews this year and only bought one tent
Kept a running list since January after a leaky trip near Asheville and hit review number 200 this week. Turns out I was reading reviews to avoid picking a tent, not to pick one, so what actually helps you pull the trigger?
Watched a buddy do the same thing with boots for like six months, reading every review on the internet until his old ones literally fell apart on a hike. What finally did it was just ordering two pairs, walking around the block in both, and sending one back. At some point you have to touch the thing instead of reading about it.
