Hit 52 weeks of modified duty last week and almost dropped my coffee
I've been stuck on light duty since my back injury back in March 2023, and last week I got the notice that I've officially hit the one year mark of restricted work. That number just hit different when I saw it on paper, you know? Has anyone else here had a milestone number that snuck up on you like that?

52 weeks man thats literally a full ass calendar year of dealing with modified duty. It's wild how you go day by day and don't realize it's piling up until you see that number. I had a similar thing with my wrist injury back in 2021 where I was on restricted work for like 40 weeks and it only hit me when my doctor asked how long it'd been. You just get so used to the routine that the big picture gets blurry. Hope your back gets to a better place soon because that kind of timeline messes with your head more than people think.

52 weeks is CRAZY when you see it on paper like that. That's a full YEAR of your life.

Oh man, 52 weeks. That number would knock the wind out of me too. I've been there with my knee rehab counting weeks and months and it's like you blink and suddenly you're staring at a number that doesn't feel real. The way you just go through the motions day after day and then BAM a full year hits you. It's like your brain buffers the reality until the paperwork shoves it in your face. I hope your back gives you a break soon because that kind of timeline is brutal.
