That $30 toner probe actually saved my Thursday afternoon
Took a service call in a 1970s split-level where the previous guy had labeled every drop as 'misc' in the attic, no color coding at all. Found a $30 toner probe on Amazon last week, figured what the heck, and it traced the line in under 10 minutes after I'd already wasted an hour guessing. Anyone else find cheap tools that outperform the expensive ones on weird older homes?
