Taping the coax before pulling it, game changer or waste of time?
Ngl, I started wrapping the connector end with electrical tape before every pull through a conduit after a job in Denver last month where the jacket kept snagging. It took an extra minute per run but zero re-pulls, which got me thinking, are we overcomplicating this or am I just lucky so far?

Three pulls in Denver told me everything. Those jacket snags are no joke, and the tape costs about ten cents per run. I used to skip it and paid for it in time and frustration. Now I tape every time and never look back. Getting snagged on a rough conduit edge is worse than any tape hassle.
